Terms of Service

Effective: [Date] · Last Updated: [Date]

These terms govern your use of SiteHub. They're written to be clearly understood — not buried in convoluted legalese. Please take a moment to read them.

Clear & FairWe strive to keep these terms reasonable and transparent for all users of the platform.

Strict on AbuseWe have zero tolerance for malicious scraping, spamming, or abuse of our infrastructure.

Welcome to SiteHub. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SiteHub, including all features, content, and services offered through the platform (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors who browse without an account, registered members, and users who submit content.

1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing SiteHub, creating an account, or interacting with any part of the Service, you enter into a legally binding agreement with SiteHub ("we", "us", or "our"). This agreement is governed by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you are accessing SiteHub on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time (see Section 18). Your continued use of the Service following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2What SiteHub Is

SiteHub is a curated web directory. We organise, categorise, and present links to third-party websites to help users discover valuable online resources more easily. SiteHub does not own, operate, host, endorse, or affiliate with the external websites listed in the directory. Inclusion in our directory does not imply our approval of any listed site's content, legality, security, practices, or reliability. We make reasonable efforts to verify the quality of Pro directory listings and to check the online status of all listings daily. However, we make no warranties regarding the continued availability, safety, or accuracy of any third-party site.

3Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use SiteHub. Users between the ages of 13 and 18 should review these Terms with a parent or legal guardian before using the Service. By using SiteHub, you represent and warrant that you meet the minimum age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly permit users under 13 to register accounts. If we discover that a user is under 13, we will immediately terminate the account and delete any associated data.

4User Accounts

Certain features of SiteHub — including saving sites, posting comments, and submitting websites — require you to register for an account. When you register, you agree to the following:

Accuracy.
You will provide a valid, accurate email address and keep your account information up to date.
Security.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your password with any third party. All activity that occurs under your account is your responsibility.
Notification.
You must notify us immediately at sitehubsupport@gmail.com if you become aware of any unauthorised access to or use of your account.
One account per person.
Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, bans, or limitations is prohibited.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any conduct we determine, at our sole discretion, to be harmful to the platform, other users, or third parties.

5User Submissions

SiteHub allows registered users to submit websites for potential inclusion in the Community directory. By submitting a website, you represent, warrant, and agree that:

You have authority.
You are permitted to submit the content you are submitting and it does not infringe any third party's rights.
The content is lawful.
Your submission does not contain illegal content, malware, phishing material, or links to sites that engage in unlawful activities.
The content is accurate.
The information provided (name, URL, description, category) is truthful and not intentionally misleading.
You grant us a licence.
By submitting content, you grant SiteHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to display, host, modify, categorise, and remove your submission as part of the directory. This licence ends when your submission is removed from the platform.
Approval is not guaranteed.
All submissions go through a manual moderation review. We reserve the right to approve, reject, edit, or remove any submission at our sole discretion, without notice or explanation.
Listings may be removed.
Even approved listings may be removed at any time if a site goes offline, violates these Terms, or no longer meets our quality standards.

6Community Content (Comments)

Registered users may post comments on site listings. By posting a comment, you agree that:

  • You will not post content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable.
  • You will not impersonate other users, SiteHub staff, or any other person or entity.
  • You will not post spam, promotional content, or unsolicited advertising.
  • Your comments represent your own views and not the views of SiteHub.

We reserve the right to remove any comment and to suspend or terminate the account of any user who violates these content standards. We are not obligated to monitor all comments but may do so at our discretion.

7Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities when using SiteHub:

Automated access.
Using bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated tools to access, index, or extract data from SiteHub at scale without our prior written permission.
Security bypass.
Attempting to circumvent, disable, or exploit our rate limiting (powered by Upstash Redis), authentication systems, admin controls, or any other security mechanism.
Malicious submissions.
Submitting URLs that contain malware, phishing content, ransomware, illegal material, or any content designed to harm users or their devices.
Exploitation.
Probing for, exploiting, or disclosing vulnerabilities in our infrastructure without following responsible disclosure principles.
Interference.
Taking any action that places an unreasonably large load on our infrastructure, degrades service performance, or interferes with other users' access to the platform.
Harassment.
Using the platform's social features (comments, submissions) to harass, stalk, threaten, or harm other users.
Impersonation.
Creating an account or profile that impersonates another user, public figure, or SiteHub staff member.
Illegal use.
Using the Service in any manner that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

Violations of this section may result in immediate account termination, a permanent network ban, and where warranted, referral to law enforcement authorities.

8External Links and Third-Party Sites

SiteHub links to external websites. We perform daily automated health checks and quality reviews of listings, but we are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site.

  • We do not endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for the safety, legality, or accuracy of any linked external content.
  • We are not liable for any damages, losses, or legal issues arising from your use of or reliance on any external site.
  • Once you leave SiteHub by clicking a listing link, that site's own terms of service and privacy policy apply.

You access external websites entirely at your own risk.

9Intellectual Property

SiteHub's content.
All original SiteHub content — including but not limited to the application code, website design, branding, logos, visual assets, 3D graphics, UI components, and the directory structure itself — is the exclusive intellectual property of SiteHub and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Restrictions.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of SiteHub's original content without our express prior written permission.
Your content.
Content you submit to SiteHub (such as site submissions and comments) remains your intellectual property. You retain ownership subject to the licence you grant us under Section 5 and the content standards you agree to throughout these Terms.
Feedback.
If you voluntarily submit feedback, ideas, or suggestions regarding the Service, you acknowledge that we may use such feedback for any purpose without any obligation of confidentiality or compensation to you.

10Trademark & Third-Party Brand Notice

SiteHub is an independent, privately operated web directory. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, authorised by, or in any way officially connected to any of the brands, companies, platforms, products, or services listed or referenced within this directory. All trademarks, service marks, trade names, trade dress, product names, logos, and other intellectual property symbols referenced on SiteHub are the exclusive property of their respective owners. Their use on SiteHub does not constitute or imply any endorsement, affiliation, or authorisation by or with such trademark owners. Where brand or product names appear on SiteHub, they are used in a purely nominative, descriptive manner — to identify the real-world product or service that a hyperlink leads to — and for no other purpose. SiteHub makes no claim of ownership over any third-party trademark. If you are a trademark owner and believe your trademark has been used in a manner that goes beyond nominative fair use, please contact us at sitehubsupport@gmail.com. We will respond within 5 business days. For full details, see our Disclaimer page at /disclaimer.

11Affiliate Disclosure

SiteHub may include affiliate links or sponsored placements within the directory. This means we may earn a commission or referral fee when users interact with certain links or sign up for certain third-party services through our directory. Where commercial relationships exist, we aim to be transparent. However, the presence of an affiliate relationship does not influence our editorial independence: we do not guarantee placement, nor do we alter our editorial assessments, in exchange for compensation. All listings — affiliate or otherwise — remain subject to our quality and moderation standards.

12Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SITEHUB EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT; WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE; AND WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY DIRECTORY LISTING OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT. Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

13Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SITEHUB AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ASSERTED, EVEN IF SITEHUB HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $10.

14Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SiteHub and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your use of or access to the Service.
  • Your violation of any of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
  • Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service.

We reserve the right to assume exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with our defence of such claims.

15DMCA and Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content on SiteHub infringes your copyright, please submit a notification containing the following information to sitehubsupport@gmail.com:

  1. 1.A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  2. 2.A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on SiteHub.
  3. 3.Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. 4.A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. 5.A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

We will review valid DMCA notices and act upon them promptly in accordance with applicable law. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

16Termination

By us.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including violation of these Terms, conduct harmful to the platform or other users, extended account inactivity, or a legal requirement to do so.

Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service immediately ceases. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.

17Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction / Country], without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Your Jurisdiction / Country]. 18Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of significant changes. Your continued use of SiteHub after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

19Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severed from these Terms and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

20Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies or guidelines referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and SiteHub with respect to the Service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings.
